Shee and the Valley of Wonder

SHEE And The Valley of Wonder is a 24 page silent comic book set in the liminal, dangerous post-apocalyptic world. Ruins of what was, covered with wild vegetation in the vivid light of the ultraviolet sky casting the shadow of long past climate disasters over all. It is the story of SHEE, a fierce warrior, hunter/gatherer surviving alone in that dangerous world. While on the hunt, testing herself against a terrifying dinosaur, Shee incidentally saves a small fox-like woodland creature from the jaws of death. This sets off the beginning of a metaphorical journey from her loneliness to a shared connection with this little animal and then a literal journey full of overwhelming beauty, reminding her that there is still the capacity for wonder in this dangerous world.
